About Me:
Thomas Wesley Chick, M.D. is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Pulmonology. Dr. Chick graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Biology and completed his graduate work at the University of Arkansas, School of Medicine in 1965. He then completed his training for pulmonary and internal medicine at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1969 and was on the faculty until 1972.
Dr. Chick worked at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine from 1972 to 1993 and the VA during the same years; he relocated from Bay City to Palestine in September, 2001. Dr. Thomas Chick's previous association includes Chief of Medicine at Matagorda General Hospital. Presently, he is associated with Palestine Regional Medical Center and is a partner of Magnolia Health Systems. Magnolia Health Systems offers a sleep study facility in addition to the Magnolia Medical Plaza diagnostic clinic. Dr. Chick has particular interests in treating asthma, COPD, and sleep apnea.
Dr. Chick is married to Marian Montoya-Chick, who is a certified Nurse Practioner with Magnolia Health Systems. They have a daughter, Ruby, who attends college at the University of Tyler as a math major. The Chick family loves living in East Texas and spending time at the beach.
