About Me:
Chip spent most of his childhood growing up in Tennessee. Upon graduating from the University of the South at Sewanee, he entered the University of Tennessee at Memphis. There, he also completed a year of Internal Medicine Internship and a three Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. While in Memphis he helped take care of well-renowned Hollywood starlet and served on the same floor with the "King".
He started practicing OB/GYN in Tullahoma, Tennessee in 1979 but moved his practice in 1983 to San Angelo, Texas. In 1985 he received Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has voluntarily received Board Recertification each year since 1999. Dr. Bennett and his family have made Palestine their home since 1994. When he isn’t delivering babies he enjoys hunting, ATVing, and playing with his new grandson.
Dr. Bennett takes care of the total woman including in-office surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy, Essure placement (sterilization), ablations, cryo, colposcopy, and biopsies. Additionally, Dr. Bennett performs surgical procedures at the hospital and treats infertility and incontinence.
